Some more information concerning the game: Koam from NeoGAF posted this...
Anyway, please take this with a grain of salt because I haven't heard much about this since then. Last January, when I first heard about red steel, I was also told that there was a Prince of Persia game in the making (or at least, they were in planning stages). I was told that this was NOT a new installment but rather the trilogy redone with the wiimote and with slightly better graphics. The reason I'm saying to take this with a grain of salt is that I was later told that it was a remake of the original only and since then, i've heard nothing about the game(s).
Actually that's a good question, I didn't really ask. It was more me asking if the pop games were still coming out on the wii and I got a response like "the remake of the original? yeah it should still be". This was months ago though. I didn't really get any additional info besides that. I'm assuming he meant the 3D PoP though and not the 2D PoP.
It looks like the original original... If that is true. OMG there will be an euphoria of fans of old school pop fans going crazy.
If its the original trilogy then it will day 1 purchase and maybe for the other platforms as well.
